Held at Hilton Bandung Hotel, the Indonesia Information Security Forum 2012 on 9-10 October 2012 will be hosted by Directorate of Information Security, Directorate General of Informatics Applications, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of Republic of Indonesia.  It will launch a more focused and inclusive dialogue between key information security actors including from government, industry, academics and civil society. This will aim to develop a better collective understanding of how to protect and preserve the tremendous opportunities that the development of information security especially cyber security offers us all.

The ideas and proposals which emerge from the forum will develop into the ‘Indonesia Agenda’, a plan to help us realise the full potential of information security – one of the great challenges of our time.

IISF2012 is an internationally recognized forum where practitioners, researchers, and developers in information system security meet to learn and to exchange practical ideas and experiences. If you are developing practical solutions to problems relating to protecting commercial enterprises’ or countries’ information infrastructures, consider submitting your work to the Indonesia Information Security Forum 2012.
